Death Toll Hits 191 as Israel’s Offensive on Gaza Continues

CLASHES BETWEEN ISRAELI SECURITY FORCES AND PALESTINIAN PROTESTERS NEAR THE WEST BANK VILLAGE OF BITDUKU

GAZA, July 15, 2014 (WAFA) – At least 191 Palestinians were killed and more than 1400 were injured as the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza enters its second week, according to medical statistics.

Two people, whose Identities are still unknown, were killed on predawn Tuesday, including an elderly, after an Israeli jet fighter targeted a motorbike in the city of Rafah, in southern Gaza, reported WAFA correspondent.

Israeli warplanes hit eastern Rafah, killing 53-year-old Bushra Za’rab and seriously injuring another Palestinian at the scene.

Meanwhile, Atwa al-Umur, 63, was also killed after warplanes targeted his house in Khan Yunes city with a missile.

Earlier in Khan Yunes, 28-year-old Ahmad Younes Abu-Yousef died of his wounds he sustained in the latest Israeli airstrike that targeted Khan Younis.

In the meantime, a number of people were reported injured as an Israeli F16 fighter targeted and fully destroyed a house in Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of Gaza.

Jet fighters targeted other locations across the Gaza Strip, including Az-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza city, Ash-Shati’ refugee camp and the town of Beit Lahiya, where a number of houses and other facilities were fully or partially destroyed.
