Farmers Will Be Compensated for Damage Caused by Settlers, says Minister

NABLUS, October 19, 2013 (WAFA) – Farmers who suffered losses due to attacks by Israeli settlers on their land will be compensated, Minister of Agriculture Walid Assaf said Saturday.

He told WAFA during a tour of the Nablus area village of Qaryout, where settlers had cut down more than 100 olive trees, that the government is going to start immediate steps to compensate them for their losses in order to help them stay on their land and to continue to cultivate it.
