Israel Arrests a Palestinian, Summons Six Others in Bethlehem, Hebron

BETHLEHEM, November 22, 2014 – (WAFA) – Israeli forces Saturday arrested a Palestinian in Hebron as well as summoned six others from Bethlehem to appear for interrogation, said security sources.

Forces stationed near the Israeli Gush Etzion settlement bloc, arrested ‘Ali al-Badawi, a resident of al-‘Arrub refugee camp. He was taken to an unknown destination.

Israeli forces raided Jabal al-Mawaleh neighborhood in Bethlehem, where they handed ‘Adel Jawarish, 50, and ‘Ali Salahat, 32, notices to appear before the Israeli intelligence.

They also raided ‘Aida and al-Dheisheh refugee camps, where they handed Khaled Qaraqe‘, 54, ‘Abdalla Saqer, 45, Muhammad Badawneh, 25, and Muhammad al-Ja‘fari, 41, notices to appear before the intelligence.

They also raided several Hebron neighborhoods, and set up roadblocks at the entrances of Halhul and Sa‘ir areas, where they stopped Palestinian registered vehicles travelling along the roads and examined passengers’ ID cards.
