HEBRON, September 7, 2014 (WAFA) – Israeli army on Sunday arrested seven Palestinians and summoned two others for interrogation during night and predawn raids in the West Bank districts of Hebron and Bethlehem, according to local and security sources.
Army forces stormed the town of Beit Ummar, to the north of Hebron, and arrested a youth, 27, whereas army arrested two others, both in their 25 years of age, during a raid on the nearby town of Bani Na’im.
Meanwhile in Hebron City, Israeli forces arrested three Palestinians, including two brothers. One of the two brothers was filming an Israeli settlers’ assault when he was nabbed by the army.
Army further set several checkpoints across Hebron Governorate, yet no more arrests were reported.
In the meantime, army stormed the villages of Taqu’ and Shawawreh, to the east of Bethlehem, and handed summons to two youths, 22 and 34, to appear for interrogation.
