JENIN, August 6, 2014 (WAFA) – Israeli army demolished on Wednesday two Palestinian private-owned facilities, as well as assaulted a journalist, in the village of Barta’a Ash Sharqiyeh, to the southwest of Jenin, according to local sources.

The sources said five Israeli Army bulldozers, accompanied by Israeli administrative staff, demolished a stone-cutting workshop and a car repair workshop owned by local residents, under the pretext they were ‘built without a permit.’

During the assault, Israeli soldiers assaulted cameraman Bahaa Kabaha while he was trying to take photos of the demolition.

To be noted, the Israeli authorities rarely issue construction permits for Palestinians living in Area C, under full Israeli civil and military control.
