HEBRON, June 14, 2014 – (WAFA) – Israeli occupation authorities prohibited Saturday Palestinian residents of Hebron under the age of 50 years from crossing al-Karamah border crossing, said a local official.
Director-General of Border Crossing Department Nathmi Mhanna stated that since Saturday morning Israeli authorities have prevented Palestinian residents of Hebron, who are under 50 years, from travelling through Al-Karamah border crossing. As a result, all Palestinian passengers from Hebron have been denied access through the border crossing.
This Israeli decision comes as the Israeli forces are launching a large-scale campaign in search of three settlers who have gone missing in the area. Israel has held the Palestinian leadership responsible for their missing although the area is classified as Area C, and accordingly, falls under the full Israeli control.
