Israeli Forces Arrest 17 People in West Bank

QALQILYA, January 14, 2014 (WAFA) – The Israeli forces arrested Tuesday 17 people from different areas in the West Bank, including 11 from the Qalqilya area, according to local and security sources.

The army arrested 11 from the village of Azzon, east of Qalqilya, ranging in age between 19 and 25 years, said local sources.

Four more were arrested from the Bethlehem areas, said security sources; two from the city and two brothers aged 18 and 32 from the nearby village of Obeidieh, east of Bethlehem, where the soldiers seized personal computers and cellular phones and smashed property during the search.

One person was arrested in the old city of Nablus and another was arrested from Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron.
