JENIN, August 18, 2014 – (WAFA) – Israeli forces Monday arrested Eight Palestinians, including a minor, from West Bank areas, in addition to a minor in the Jerusalem area, according to security sources.
In Jenin district, Israeli forces raided Jenin refugee camp, where they arrested four Palestinians, including a 30-year-old, after breaking into and ransacking their homes. They also broke into several other homes and handed two other Palestinians notices to appear before the Israeli intelligence for interrogation.
Forces also raided Wadi Burqin and Ya‘bad, located to the west of the city, where they arrested a 24-year-old Palestinian and interrogated a freed prisoner respectively after breaking into and ransacking their families’ homes.
Israeli troops also set up two roadblocks at the entrance of Jaba‘ and ‘Anza, to the south of the city, where they stopped Palestinian-registered vehicles travelling along the roads and inspected passengers’ ID cards.
Meanwhile in Hebron, forces stationed in the vicinity of the Ibrahimi Mosque, to the south of the city, arrested two Palestinians aged 14 and 21 years.
Soldiers also arrested a 29-year-old Palestinian after breaking into and searching his home in Wadi Ma‘ali in central Bethlehem.
Meanwhile in Jerusalem, Israeli police raided the African Community neighborhood, adjacent to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, where they arrested a 16-year old Palestinian after breaking into, ransacking his family’s home. He was taken to a detention and interrogation center in the city of Jerusalem.
