HEBRON, June 1, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Wednesday detained 12 Palestinians in dawn raids into a number of West Bank districts, said security sources and Palestine Prisoner’s Society.
Seven Palestinians were detained from Hebron, three others from Tubas, another from Nablus and another from Qalqilia.
Forces handcuffed and took five Palestinians into custody after thoroughly ransacking their family houses in Hebron city.
The detainees were identified as Abdul-Mu’ez Abu-Khalaf, 45, Ahmad Abu-Sharif, 25, Baha Zaheda, 35, Wael al-Bitar, 36, and Rami Zeyada, 38.
Forces also detained Wael al-Tarayra, 39, after breaking into and ransacking his family house in Bani Na’im town, south of Hebron.
Anas Hamdan was also detained from Qalandiya refugee camp, north of Jerusalem.
In Tubas, forces handcuffed and detained Hamza Daragma, his brother, Mu’men, and Mustafa Abu-Rihan after storming their family houses in the northern West Bank district.
Besides, forces detained Mus’ab Sabbah and Ehab Zeid from the northern West Bank districts of Nablus and Qalqilia.
This came as 45 Palestinians were briefly detained in Jerusalem, including five who were taken into custody.
