JERUSALEM, December 29, 2015 (WAFA) – Israeli forces detained four Palestinians and stormed several houses and stores during predawn raids into Qalandiya Refugee Camp, north of Jerusalem, and Jenin.

Israeli military vehicles raided the camp from several directions and dozens of troops deployed throughout the camp’s alleyways and neighborhoods, triggering violent clashes with locals. Israeli troops further stormed and ransacked several houses and stores during the predawn raid.
Troops also stormed several stores in the Kufr ‘Aqqab Street of al-Zghayir, including al-‘Ajloni Center, destroying their doors and ransacking them.
During the predawn raid, troops detained two Palestinians identified as Osama Hammad, 17, and Hani al-Tamimi from the western neighborhood of Qalandiya and al-Zghayir Street neighborhood.
Troops also stormed Um Ash-Sharayet neighborhood, where they proceeded to detain Mou’min al-Qaz‘a after breaking into and ransacking his house.
Meanwhile in the northern West Bank city of Jenin, troops detained a Palestinian after breaking into and ransacking his family house in al-Basatin neighborhood.
The detainee was identified as Asil Zughaibi, 21, a junior law student enrolled in the Arab American University.
