Israeli Forces Raid West Bank Homes, Summon Residents

HEBRON/JENIN, January 12, 2014 (WAFA) – Israeli forces raided Sunday a number of West Bank homes in the north and south of the West Bank, set up checkpoints and summoned individuals for interrogation, said security sources.

In the Hebron area in south of the West Bank, forces raided and searched homes in Idna, Sair and al-Hawooz neighborhood of Hebron.

Several people were handed orders to appear before the Israeli security service for interrogation.

Military checkpoints were also set up at the northern entrance of Hebron and on the road linking Dura and al-Fawwar refugee Camp where soldiers stopped vehicles passing along the way and checked passengers’ ID cards.

In the Jenin area in the north of the West Bank, forces raided homes in the village of Anza and handed a 27-year-old man a summons to the security service.

Soldiers also set up military checkpoints at the entrance of Arraba, Anza and Azzaweya, inspected vehicles passing along the road and checked passengers’ IDs.
