Israeli Settlers Cut Olive Trees near Nablus

NABLUS, October 5, 2013 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers Saturday cut more than 100 olive trees in the Nablus area village of Deir Sharaf, according to a local activist.

Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors settlement activities in the north of the West Bank, told WAFA that settlers from Shavi Shomron entered the Palestinian land and cut the olive trees as the olive picking season was starting.

Entire Palestinian villages make their annual living from olive picking.
