Israeli Settlers Set up Tents on Palestinian Land near Nablus

NABLUS, August 12, 2013 (WAFA) – A group of Israeli settlers Monday set up tents on privately-owned Palestinian land in an area east of the town of Burin, south of Nablus, according to a local activist.

Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors settlement activities in the north of the West Bank, told WAFA that settlers from the Israeli settlement of Bracha, built illegally on the town’s land, began since early morning setting up a number of tents on the towns’ land.

He said this measure comes as a prelude to what appears to be the establishment of a new settlement outpost or the annexation of new land for the benefit of settlement expansion.
