Israeli Soldiers Shoot, Injure Two Workers near Gaza

BEIT HANOUN – Two workers Monday were shot and injured by Israeli forces’ fire while at work near Beit Hanoun (Erez) border crossing, to the north of Gaza, according to media sources.

WAFA correspondent said Israeli soldiers opened fire at a group of workers who were at work collecting gravels near the borders, injuring two of them. They were transferred to hospital for medical treatment where their cases were described as moderate.

To be noted, Israeli army soldiers, stationed on border watchtowers, deliberately target workers and farmers who attempt to reach their own private land adjacent to the borders with Israel.
