Presidency Warns against Israeli Plan to Allocate Gates for Jews to enter al-Aqsa Mosque

al-Aqsa MosqueCAIRO, October 7, 2014 (WAFA) – Palestinian presidency warned on Monday against the repercussions of remarks made by Israeli Minister of Tourism, in which she highlighted Israeli plans to allocate special gates for Jewss to enter al-Aqsa mosque.

The presidency said these remarks are flatly rejected, considering the move a unilateral one that could undermine any chances for peace, adding that the holy sites in Jerusalem are a “red line” that cannot be crossed.

Israeli websites have indicated an imminent Israeli policy targeting to allow Jewish settlers to daily enter al-Aqsa Mosque through two already existing gates.
