Settlers Attack Palestinians near Nablus

NABLUS, October 17, 2013 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers Thursday attacked a number of Palestinians while they were picking olives in an area south of the village of Burin, south of Nablus, leading to confrontations, according to a local activist.

Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors settlements in the north of the West Bank, told WAFA that more than a hundred settlers from the illegal Israeli settlement of Yetzahar attacked Palestinians and activists while they were picking olives in their land as well as seized their equipment.

Confrontations erupted between the residents and settlers with no reports of any injuries.
