Settlers Set Fire to Palestinian Land, Attack Residents near Nablus

NABLUS, August 12, 2013 (WAFA) – A group of Israeli settlers Monday attacked several Palestinian homes as well as set fire to Palestinian-owned land in the village of Jalood, south of Nablus, according to a local activist.

Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors settlement activities in the north of the West Bank, said that settlers set fire to large areas of land and hurled stones at several homes, leading to clashes with the residents.

The southern and eastern parts of the Nablus area are subjected to settlers’ attacks almost on daily basis, he said.
