Students Suffer Gas Inhalation during Army Raid

JENIN, October 29, 2013 (WAFA) – Several Palestinian students Tuesday suffered from tear gas inhalation during clashes that erupted between them and Israeli forces following an army raid on two towns west of Jenin, according to local sources.

He said that Israeli forces stormed the village of Silat el-Harthiya in the early morning hours, set up a checkpoint in the center of the village, took pictures of a mosque there while firing tear gas grenades toward students heading for school causing several suffocation cases and preventing students from reaching their schools.

Forces also carried out a provocative raid on the town of Yamoun. No arrests or injuries were reported.

Meanwhile, forces have taken over a Palestinian house in the town of Yabad for the fifth consecutive day and turned it into a military observation point.
