Three Shot and Injured, Several Suffocation Cases during Clashes in Hebron Town


HEBRON, July 28, 2014 – (WAFA) – Three Palestinians were injured Monday morning with live ammunition and several others suffocated during clashes that erupted with Israeli forces at the northern entrance of Yatta to the south of Hebron, said a local activist.

The town residents rallied in solidarity with besieged Gaza population who have been under heavy bombardment for the past twenty one days. They chanted slogans condemning Israeli massacres against Gaza defenseless civilian population, calling for consolidating Palestinian unity and calling for prosecuting Israeli officials.

Clashes erupted with Israeli troops deployed at the northern entrance of the town; forces fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters, shooting and injuring three with live ammunition and causing several others to suffer from tear gas inhalation, according to Coordinator of Popular Anti-wall and Settlement Committee Rateb Jabour.
