GAZA, August 11, 2014 (WAFA) – At least 1943 Palestinians have been killed, including infants, children, women, and elderly, and at 9886 others have been injured since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Gaza on the 8th of July, according to medical statistics.
Rescue teams recovered the bodies of two Palestinians from under the rubble of their homes, which were bombarded in Khoza’a to the east of the strip, while Mohammad al-Romi died of his wounds, which he sustained in an earlier strike on the strip, while being treated at a hospital in Gaza.
On Monday, 45-day-old Maida Aslan died of her wounds which she had sustained in an earlier Israeli bombing on her house in central Gaza, said WAFA correspondent. Aslan died while being hospitalized inside the Gaza Strip.
To be noted, the United Nations has estimated that between 70% and 80% of the casualties are civilians.
