GAZA, January 16, 2014 (WAFA) – A woman and four children were injured Thursday in a series of Israeli air attacks targeting several locations in the Gaza Strip, said sources.
An F16 fighter targeted an empty land to the northeast of Gaza City causing damage to homes and fear among children.
Four children and a woman were injured from broken glass that resulted from the strikes. They were transferred to hospital for medical treatment.
Israeli aircrafts also targeted the already destroyed al-Safina military compound near Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza Strip leaving damage to nearby houses.
Another location was struck in Nusseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. The attack caused a fire to break out.
Israeli gunboats off Gaza coast fired missiles on an empty land. There were no reports of injuries.
Israel said the attacks came following shooting of missiles from Gaza at southern Israel.
